The longer I research educational games, the more great stuff I find. I also came to the conclusion that it doesn’t all have to be video games! There are also good board games that promote learning as well. So, when it is time to get the kids off the video game consoles, bring them around the dining room table for some gool ol’ fashion board game fun.
1. Apples to Apples – This is a fun card game that is based in matching / making comparisons and is designed for younger players agesĀ 6 and up. It will help develop vocabulary and thinking skills. The game itself can actually get funny as players have to plead their case to the game judge as to why their comparison is valid.
